DAY 1 - ARRIVAL AT SRINAGAR AIRPORT [1 Hr]Overnight at SRINAGAR
Meet & greet at SXR (Srinagar Airport).
The name Srinagar is derived from the conjoining of the two words in Sanskrit, “Sri” implying ‘Lakshmi’ and “Nagar” implying ‘city’.
The importance of Srinagar in literary and scholarly pursuits is often gauged from the very fact that it’s the second oldest city in South Asia after Varanasi. The city, because it exists today, was developed within the 7th century under Raja Parvarsen-II. However, Pandrethan, which may be a locality in Srinagar, is even older. It is said to have been founded by Asoka in 250 B.C. as the provincial capital. The city was complete with religious discourses, cultural traditions, a rich language, and organized urban habitations by all accounts.
DAY 2 – SRINAGAR TO GULMARG TO SRINAGAR

Gulmarg It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmarg valley which is about 03 kms long and up-to 01 km wide.

DAY 3 - SRINAGAR TO KARGIL VIA SONMARGOvernight at KARGIL
After breakfast Pick up from Srinagar hotel, and drive for Kargil via Sonmarg – the Grassy Field of Gold Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The journey to Sonamarg is another spectacular bevel of countryside in Kashmir in the Valley of Sindhu. The Sindhu Valley is the largest as well as the longest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. This wonderful drive to Kargil the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs).
Once you finished Sonamarg, mostly there is a rough road and wet to Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Which is the Gateway of Ladakh). Continue to long drive towards Drass (This is the second coldest inhabited place in the world). Another two and half hours’ drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs), which has got its national importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1975. DAY 4 – KARGIL TO SURU VALLEY

After a delicious breakfast drive for the pristine valley of Suru valley. Famous Suru may be a high-altitude green oasis with snow-capped peaks, and therefore the mighty Suru river snaking through its gigantic valley.
Now you drive up to the Parkachik glacier at the foothills of the Nun Kun peaks, Ladakh’s two highest peaks. The highlight of this drive maybe a visit to the third and therefore the tallest of the three Matetriya Buddha statues within the historic village of Kartse Khar. DAY 5 - KARGIL TO LEH VIA LAMAYURU [7 Hrs]Overnight at LEH
Early morning Depart from Kargil after breakfast. This is the ultimate day for your photo session by en-route visiting the monastery of Mulbekh & Lamayuru & Moon landscape passing through Namkila & Fatula Passes, the highest pass on the Srinagar – Leh road and proceed to Leh Enroute visit 1000-year-old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground.
Thereafter, proceed to the conflux of Indus & Zanskar river (Sangam) drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), further on to Leh Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia).

DAY 6 – SIGHTSEEING AT LEH

After a leisurely breakfast, we all drive to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. However, Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya Buddha and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked up between wooden covers and bound in silk.
After finishing Thiksey will drive back to Leh through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Shanti Stupa a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa will be visited later, It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. After that, visit Leh Palace is a former ancient palace overlooking the town of Leh. The palace was constructed nearly circa 1600 by Sengge Namgyal.

DAY 7 - LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNGLA (6 HRS) (6Overnight at NUBRA VALLEY
After early morning breakfast drives to Nubra valley, driving over the very best motored pass within the world. The amazing journey will continue through serpentine roads leads you to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. DAY 8 – NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE

After a delightful breakfast at camp/hotel, drive to the next destination Pangong Lake (situated at 14, 500 ft above sea level) via Shayok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The following roads, towards the Shayok river and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village.
It takes less than an hour to reach Shayok, and you will be delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. In the afternoon reach at Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake. Undoubtedly this is a picture-perfect destination for photosession. On heavy season days, tourists are enjoying the natural surroundings with a mesmerizing view from here.
